It restores self-confidence and I have chosen it for Capricorn as although they are serious and disciplined they can be very self-conscious and shy underneath. Serpentine is also useful in balancing female hormones and good for women who are unable to reach orgasm due to tension. Serpentine helps you to feel more in control but at the same time relaxed and able to cope with mood swings. This is a gemstone for good luck and helps you to remember and understand dreams. It is also thought to protect against poisonous animals such as snakes.
Opposite – Moonstone
Moonstone promotes intuition, empathy, depth of feeling, happiness and love. This is a very feminine gemstone and is said to enhance fertility in women by balancing internal hormone cycles. Moonstone reduces aggression and calms overreaction to emotional situations. For Capricorn this is a good gemstone to help build a connection with the emotions and intuition rather than relying solely on the practical side of life. Moonstone is said to enhance psychic gifts, increase clairvoyance and encourage lucid dreaming. It also brings good fortune. Moonstone is the primary gemstone for Cancer.
